Western Medicine

Western medicine, often called conventional or modern medicine, focuses on diagnosing and treating illnesses through scientific methods. It includes everything from medications and surgeries to advanced technology, helping to quickly address symptoms and manage conditions. Rooted in research and evidence, Western medicine provides effective, standardized care for many health issues. For patients, it means access to treatments that are proven to work, bringing relief and recovery.

Eastern Medicine

Eastern medicine, often called traditional or holistic medicine, takes a whole-body approach to health, focusing on balance, harmony, and natural healing. Originating in Asia, it includes practices like acupuncture, herbal remedies, and mindfulness techniques that have been used for centuries. Eastern medicine emphasizes supporting the body’s natural healing abilities, addressing not only symptoms but also their root causes.

Dr. Michelle Starr combines the best of both Western and Eastern medicine to provide truly comprehensive care. By blending scientifically-backed treatments with holistic, whole-body approaches, she offers patients the advantage of both rapid relief and deeper, natural healing. This balanced approach means that along with conventional treatments, patients benefit from Eastern practices like acupuncture and herbal support, which help enhance well-being and address root causes.

"Working in a field that demands empirical evidence, I found it surprising and deeply moving to experience ongoing communication with my late husband. These interactions have been timely, specific, and profoundly healing, challenging my understanding of life and death."
